Human In The Loop is a monthly meetup where Calgary UX designers explore the evolving relationship between Generative AI and User Experience. From creative workflows to ethical questions, each session invites designers of all levels to share ideas, test tools, and shape the future of design—together. Whether you're experimenting with prompts, integrating AI into your prototyping, or just AI-curious—this space is for you. ### What to Expect: Show & Tell: Real stories from local designers using Gen AI in their work AI Playgrounds: Exploration of tools like ChatGPT, Figma Make, Midjourney, ConfyUI, etc. Open Discussions: Ethics, creativity, automation, and how AI is reshaping UX work Community Connections: Learn from peers and build lasting relationships ### Topics We Will Not Cover While we encourage exploration and discussion, this series will not focus on: AI development from a purely engineering or ML model perspective Hype-based or uncritical promotion of AI tools “Growth hacks” or deceptive UX tactics powered by AI Uses of AI that prioritize automation over human well-being Corporate AI sales pitches or sponsored tool demos (unless transparently disclosed)
