Matthew is a Technical Lead at Arcurve and has been a part of the company for 7 years. He has experience working directly with clients to both develop new software solutions and to replace existing systems in industries such as Oil and Gas and Property Management. Matthew has a Post Diploma Bachelor of Science Computer Science degree from the University of Lethbridge and a diploma in Software Development from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Matthew enjoys engaging with members of the local tech community, often representing Arcurve at tech events and volunteering with the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, and STEM Innovation Academy.

Corey is a Business Analyst at Arcurve with experience tackling complex business challenges across a diverse range of industries. Over six sessions, you will run experiments to test:

Desirability (do customers want this?)
Feasibility (can I do this?)
Viability (can I make money?)
There are four two-hour sessions included in the Discover program, plus two one-hour virtual labs. All in-person sessions take place at City of Airdrie City Hall. You will be provided a link for all virtual labs.

February 17 session - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
February 19 virtual lab - 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
March 3 session - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
March 5 virtual lab - 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
March 17 session - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

What will you do?

Develop a 1-page business plan to help you deconstruct your idea into its key assumptions.
Identify who your customers are, what they look like and how they behave to build a better solution for the problem they want to solve.
Conduct experiments to test assumptions for market fit, viability and market risk.
Evaluate how big and compelling customer problems are - and if it’s worth your time and money to try to solve them.
Who should participate?

People with an idea for a business, or looking to add an additional product or service to your existing offerings.
Entrepreneurs and small businesses with products and services from any industry.
Those willing to 'do the work' between sessions, including getting out and talking with potential customers and conducting experiments.

The Test Tribe Calgary Meetup – The Art of Debugging: Debug Like a Developer, Think Like a QA

Debugging is often seen as a developer’s job—but the most effective QA engineers know that great debugging skills are a force multiplier.
