Featured companies and speakers: Helcim 🔹 Christina Wyllie, Software Engineer Christina is a Software Engineer at Helcim, working primarily on backend systems that support core merchant funding. She joined Helcim as an intern from the University of Calgary and returned full time after graduating. Having progressed from student to intern to new grad on the same team, she brings a practical perspective on early career growth and is excited to share her experiences with others starting out in tech. 🔹 Keith Allen, Engineering Manager Keith is an Engineering Manager at Helcim, where he leads a payments infrastructure team. He has 20 years of experience across startups and established companies, and is passionate about building strong engineering teams and helping developers grow and advance their careers. Arcurve 🔹 Matthew Rose, Technical Lead Matthew is a Technical Lead at Arcurve and has been a part of the company for 7 years. He has experience working directly with clients to both develop new software solutions and to replace existing systems in industries such as Oil and Gas and Property Management. Matthew has a Post Diploma Bachelor of Science Computer Science degree from the University of Lethbridge and a diploma in Software Development from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Matthew enjoys engaging with members of the local tech community, often representing Arcurve at tech events and volunteering with the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, and STEM Innovation Academy. 🔹 Corey Lipman, Business Analyst Corey is a Business Analyst at Arcurve with experience tackling complex business challenges across a diverse range of industries. He specializes in working with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into technology driven solutions, leveraging data and insights to deliver practical, high impact outcomes. Corey holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Dalhousie University.
